Carterole Vdf Blanc Esta Fete 2022 750ml

Joachim Roque makes wine in the Roussillon AOC of Collioure. After learning organic and biodynamic viticulture from Alain Castex, and winemaking from Bruno Duchene he started Domaine Carterole in 2014. Esta Fete is a blend made predominantly from Grenache Blanc, with a bit of Roussanne. The grapes come from a single terraced vineyard planted on the local schist soil. This is Joachim’s top white cuvee. The ‘22 is drinking beautifully, with an elegant minerality and bright acidity that is seldom found in white wines from Roussillon’s hot and arid climate.
