Slatnik takes its name from a village neighboring it’s vineyard source. This is a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Friulano, with 10-14 days of maceration on the skins, that is aged on the lees for a year in large 6000-liter Friulian-made French oak botti, before being bottled with a small addition of sulfur and aged for an additional year before release. This is one of the estates' more fruit-forward orange wines, with hints of fresh apricot and bergamot.
