‘Le Ban’ is a southwestern facing vineyard of Pinot Noir in Saint Aubin with gravel, clay, and limestone soils. This is a nuanced red Burgundy, that reminds us of the delicate stylings of winemakers like Yvonne Metras in the Beaujolais. Another incredibly well valued natural Burgundy, ripe for cellaring and delicious to drink now, the 2020 vintage is marked by concentration and spice.
