Viognier grown by Mattia Carfanga, Pouzolles, l’Hérault + Cinsault grown by Gérald Oustric (Le Mazel),Valvigneres, Ardèche (200 litres)

Bottled June 2024. “00” 12% 1,100 bottles made

Viognier 1/3 de-stemmed, rest whole bunch. Maceration 7 days. Assembled with 200 litres of Cinsault from Gerald (10 day maceration whole bunch).

Colour: not so much white as ballerina slipper.

Rooibus tea as white wine. Salty tannins, a blush of tropicality, stoney minerality. Etc! I suggest you carafe it.
