Natalia Rodriguez makes beautifully focused, organically farmed Albariños from her family’s vineyards in Rías Baixas. She was the first winemaker in her region to convert all of her vineyards to organic farming and became certified in 2010. The estate’s eponymous Cuvée of Albarino comes from a blend of two of her father’s old vineyards. The grapes are directly pressed and undergo native yeast fermentation, after which the wine rests on the fine lees for 3 months. This is as bright, and as clear of an expression of Albariño that you will ever come across. Lemon zest and saline.
