Dexheimer Cherry Path Riesling 2022 750ml

The name Cherry Path is Max and Marika’s English adaptation of the historical name of one of their top-quality vineyards, “Kirchpfad.” This is a special, single-site cuvée with longer lees aging in traditional barrels.

Grapes: 100% Riesling

Vineyard: Single vineyard now called “Propstey,” 40-year-old vines on clay and limestone soil.

Making of (2022): Grapes are hand harvested, direct pressed, and aged for 2 years on full lees in 1200l old German oak barrels. After bottling, Max and Marika hold back the wine to age another 1 year in bottle before releasing.
