Domaine Tissot Cotes du Jura Pinot Noir Confidentiel 2021 750ml

"Pinot noir grown on clay & limestone: all of the best Pinot Noir of the Domaine was used for this wine (Sous la Tour & Barberon).

Unfortunately there were no single vineyard wines made in 2021 because of a devastating frost that April.

Confidentiel was aged only 18 months in barrel because Tissot did not want to push such a fragile vintage to 24 months of ageing. 

It was vinified in a large open top wooden fermenter. The first two weeks no punch down, 5 weeks maceration prior to pressing & racking into barrels.

The wine has the AOC Côtes du Jura because it was blended from 2 different sights with 2 different AOCs" -Camille Rivière Selection

Reminds the Discovery Team of the Horiot Rose des Riceys, albeit a red version!
