THE WINE of the 2022 vintage & the greatest Mourvèdre Jeff ever made. He once told me: "mourvèdre likes to have its feet in the water and face in the sun". August 15th it rained 60mm and 10 days after that water benefited the grapes. It's exuberant, no extraction, but great concentration with a profile of iodine, licorice, small dark fruit & coca cola spice. "un gros pétard" as Jeff said= a big firecracker
