Maupertuis Les Pierres Noires 2023 750ml

The Gamay d’Auvergne for this cuvée is sourced from an old vineyard which sits at the base of the area’s ancient volcano. A very small amount of the local, and nearly extinct grape variety, Noirfleurien, is blended into the wine as well. This is a light red with tea-like tannins, complex minerality, and tart berry fruit. A beautiful natural wine for short term cellaring.
