Strekov Charlotte Pet Nat 2023 750ml

Vineyard: Clay-loam topsoil on calcareous loess rock. Village Vajka nad Žitavou, district Nitra. 2.5 ha, 4800 vines per hectare, planted in 2018. Herbs grow between rows; organic farming with zero synthetic substances.

Making of: Grapes are hand-picked and pressed into stainless steel tanks for spontaneous fermentation without temperature control. The wine is gravity-bottled in September 2023 toward the end of fermentation with residual sugar; unfined, unfiltered. Disgorged in February 2024.
