Grape: Merlot & Welschriesling

Making of: the grapes are hand-picked and briefly macerated as whole clusters. Indigenous yeast only. Aged in old oak barrels. Bottled by gravity without fining and filtration, no SO2 added.

Personality: Fresh and fruity, with gorgeous acidity. All ripe red fruits on the nose, with lip-smacking sour plum and raspberries on the palate. Light bodied and ultra-quaffable, with a pleasant whisper of slightly-chalky tannins.
