Roland & Alice Tauss are in the neighboring village of Schlossberg. Along with Sepp & Maria Muster, Franz Strohmeier and Andreas Tscheppe they are members of the ‘Schmecke das Leben’ (“Taste Life”), a collective of like minded Steiermark

winemakers who are farming Biodynamically. This wine is made from 20 year old vines of Sauvignon Blanc, planted to the local Opok soil, a mixture of clay and silt. This is a very unique expression of Sauvignon Blanc that is both herbaceous and aromatic, and carries the signature tension of the Tauss wines.
